VIP Studio Tour @ Warner Bros.

Finally some true fun. We did the VIP tour at the Warner Bros. Studios. This tour takes you all around the back-lot of the studio in a golf cart, with the hopes of catching a glimpse of a celebrity. Although no celebrity sightings, other than trailers, we saw and learned a lot about movie magic. For example, the Las Vegas rooftop from Ocean's 13, where they land a helicopter on the roof and stole the diamonds, was done right here in Burbank. Our tour guide, Holly, took us all around and explained the ins and outs of film making. We got to go into two live sets, The Mentalist and 2 Broke Girls. It was so cool to stand in the center of set in a sound stage of shows we actually watch, kind of surreal. We also took a trip through Stars Hallow, BlueBell, and Rosewood which are all infamously featured in Gilmore Girls, Heart of Dixie, and Pretty Little Liars. Being a true fan, you may recognize that each town is filmed in the same place just redecorated to fit the setting for each show.

The most iconic set Warner Brothers probably has to offer is the FRIENDS set. Being a fan, it was truly amazing to see the Central Perk cafe and the unaccredited 7th friend, the couch.

Our day was topped off with an enticing and delicious lunch at El Torito! Not only had we been craving Mexican food since we got here but nothing had satisfied our taste buds until today... El Torito is the real deal and has become our new favorite restaurant here!
